School Resource Division

BPD School Resource Officers are dedicated to working with NLCS to ensure a safer learning environment, provide valuable resources to school staff, teachers and youth to prevent and solve problems within the school and community and foster positive relationships between youth and police officers. The School Resource Officer program has been serving NLCS since August 2018.  Major Brian Turpen is assigned to Bedford Middle School and Officer Justin Gilbert is assigned to Bedford North Lawrence High School.
